If things go right Precious will be an Oscar contender later on this year. Other than the fact that the story looks gut-wrenchingly amazing, it stars one of my new favorites: Paula Patton. I remember when I first saw her in Hitch I was like, "she's gonna get big." It's possible that she might get a supporting actress nomination and that would be pretty cool. The film also stars Mariah Carey, Lenny Kravitz and Mo'Nique.

ReplyDeleteI've heard ALOT of buzz about this movie and I'm anxious to finally see it. I hope its not all hype and is actually as everyone says it is...(crossing fingers).
