Mr. Nobody

Jared Leto's upcoming film looks like Sliding Doors meets The Curious Case of Benjamin Button and I'm okay with that! Leto will forever remain cool because of A.) his role in My So-Called Life and B.) the dude's a rocker.

Mr. Nobody is both the oldest man in the world and the last mortal of a new mankind where nobody dies anymore. But that doesn't seem to interest or bother him very much. The only questions that preoccupy him in the present is whether he lived the right life for himself, loved the woman whom he was supposed to love, and had the children whom he was meant to have... now his purpose is to find the right answer.

Anyone else looking forward to this sci-fi themed love story?

  1. I loved your comment over at Flowerdust.... I have been thinking and talking a lot lately about Christians only consuming 'Christian' books and films. Personally, I like a well made film or well written book regardless and think you can learn so much (a film like 'Once were Warriors' which was made in NZ where I live changed our culture, got us talking about domestic violence for example).

    Well done for not just making a sanitised view of the world.

  2. I saw the preview for this last week and was so intrigued...it reminds me of Benjamin Button in a way but a bajillion times better! I want to know why he's living so many different lives. The suspense is killing me!

  3. I'm so excited about this film! I just hope that it's better than "Benjamin Button" because I was SUPER excited about that film as well.

    On another note, I completely forgot that Jared Leto was in "My So-Called Life"! Awww nostalgia.

    @Jacque,
    I know! What's gonna happen? Who is he going to choose?

    @Issa,
    To make up for forgetting Leto in My So-Called Life you can't complain when (or if) his '90s over-sized grunge plaid shirts comes back into style. ;)

    @Color,
    Thanks for the link! I'm checking it out now.
