Ivy Bethune Tri-Union Diversity Awards

John Cho and Kal Penn reunited earlier this week at the 8th Annual Ivy Bethune Tri-Union Diversity Awards held in Burbank. Penn was an honoree alongside CCH Pounder (Warehouse 13, The Shield) and producer Yvette Lee Bowser (Living Single, Half & Half). The Ivy Bethune Awards "recognize performers and arts organizations who, through their work and activism, have fostered diversity within the entertainment and news media industries and their communities."

    There was one more honoree, Deaf West Theatre Company, with deaf performers Linda Bove (Sesame Street), Shoshannah Stern (Lie To Me) and Tyrone Giordano (The Next Three Days) among others in attendance to celebrate Artistic Director Ed Waterstreet's leadership.
