The second film from writer/director/artist Miranda July (
Me and You and Everyone We Know) is about a couple who adopt a stray cat while going through a mid-life crisis. The trailer looks equal parts quirky and heartwarming. If you haven't seen her first film it's currently available on watch instantly.
The Future will play at the
Los Angeles Film Festival, which starts June 16th. Can't wait to see this!
I missed this movie when it played during the Dallas International Fill Festival. It looks very interesting.
