Jennifer's Body
I really liked this film, which unfortunately bombed at the box office despite its initial buzz. Diablo Cody's sophomore script is funny, smart, and creepy. The actors all do a great job delivering her trademark clever dialogue. Megan Fox actually acts. I swear. Also, its parody of indie bands is hilarious and spot-on. If you're into 80s style horror-comedies, you will love it.

Paranormal Activity
Missed it in theaters but have heard great things about this handmade ghost story. From a filmmaking perspective its great to see such an inspiring success story. Also, they wanted to thank all the online fans who helped get them a wide release by putting them on the DVD/Blu-ray, so look for my name in the special thanks credits!

Not to be confused with the musical, Shane Acker's animated dystopia is a story of ragdolls trying to survive in a post-apocalyptic world. Directors Tim Burton and Timur Bekmambetov saw Acker's short film and helped him develop it into a feature. Missed it in theaters, but looking forward to checking it out along with the short.

Glee: Season 1 Vol. 1: Road to Sectionals
Love this show, especially Jane Lynch who steals every scene. This set includes the first 13 episodes because unfortunately Fox is dividing them into volumes. There is a good chance they will release the complete first season after they air the remaining episodes in April, so I would wait for that.

A Perfect Getaway
This looks like an average thriller but I will be checking it out because of writer/director David Twohy, who hasn't made a film since the Riddick movies. His creativity combined with the presence of actor Steve Zahn make it a definite rental.

Carriers
The Pastor Bros' indie virus-epidemic movie got great reviews and I'm glad it got a release thanks to lead Chris Pine's success with Star Trek. Unfortunately there are no extras or Blu-ray but still worth a rental for the movie itself.
